Injection moulding

Injection moulding is the most common method for plastic production.
IPA produces components and finished items with a weight that varies from a few grams to some kilos.

The fields of application are various:
from agricolture to housebuilding from electric field to toys from containers to items ment for leisure time.

Besides traditional injection, gas aided injection is a well-known technology suitable for: items which are internally empty and so could not be obtained by traditional injection moulding. Also other objects can be made by gas aided injection in order to reduce cycle time and, as a consequence, reduce costs.

Over-injection is used to obtain objects made of two different materials with different technical properties. For instance an object can be made with polyammide, which is strong and resilient and over-injected with termoplastic elastomer (TPE) in order to have a soft-touch.
